Richard Deapen

Richard is responsible for leading all aspects of the construction process for assigned projects within Aura Marts’s Central Region portfolio. Richard has been in the construction industry for more than 30 years with experience in various disciplines, and functioning in capacities from field level to executive level. While in High School and College he worked for his father’s Underground Utility Company.

After graduating from New Mexico State University in 1995 Richard began his Multifamily Construction career with a Design-Build General Contractor specializing in Military Housing. During this time he completed numerous projects on and off of military installations throughout the contiguous United States. Most recently, Richard spent 15 years with a Nationally recognized Multifamily Owner-Developer in the Texas market building Class A Garden, Wrap and Podium Style projects. His overall Multifamily experience includes more than 6000 units of New Construction and 2400 units of Rehab.
